Wheelchair Services

Relocation of the existing Wheelchair Services accommodation currently located at Southmead Hospital to a new location at Frenchay Hospital, including the extension of Frenchay's existing Medical Records and Academic Centre buildings to suit the requirements of these services.

The works will involve the construction of a new link corridor between the two buildings and some modifications to the existing internal walls to suit the new space planning layouts. It is proposed that the buildings will only be used as a 'stopgap' solution for relocating the Wheelchair Services until a permanent location is found after completion of the new proposed Southmead Hospital.
