Warmley Park School
A new single-storey extension was constructed at Warmley Park School Nursery, adding an early years classroom, hygiene room, meeting room, group rooms, accessible toilet, wheelchair store, and general storage to support future school needs. The nursery car park was also expanded.
The extension included new mechanical and electrical services, such as a VRF DX heating system, heat recovery and extract ventilation, hot and cold-water systems with point-of-use heaters, and above-ground drainage. Electrical works featured a dedicated distribution board with surge protection, power and data outlets, high-efficiency LED lighting with DALI dimming and occupancy controls.
Existing fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and lightning protection systems were extended to cover the new areas. A call alarm and induction loop systems were installed where required.
The car park extension included EV charging points and LED column lighting controlled by a time switch and photocell. A photovoltaic array was installed on the building’s flat roof.
BJP collaborated closely with the client, project team, and contractors to ensure compliance with best practices and timely, on-budget delivery.
